Frequently Asked Questions About Ordering

How do I order and pay for my photos?

I strongly prefer that you order and send payment through Paypal. This is a free service (though you must create a Paypal account) that allows you to pay via either credit card or direct withdrawal from your bank account. Each photo gallery and photo page contains links to your Paypal shopping cart and buttons you can use to add prints to your shopping cart. You can view the current contents of your cart at any time: https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr

If you are anti-Paypal, I will accept payment via check. Be aware that this will delay mailing of your photos until your check has been received and has cleared the bank, a process that could take as long as one week. If you wish to pay by check, please contact me with your order instead of using the shopping cart system.

When will I receive my photos?

Photos are processed in the order they are received. Processing and printing of your photos usually takes 1-5 business days. All photos are mailed via USPS and should be received within two weeks of ordering. It may take longer if you choose not to use Paypal.

Is there an order deadline?

There is no order deadline, however, after 90 days photos may be archived and removed from the website. If you are looking for a past event, please contact me.

I can't find my photo!

I try my best to capture every person or thing at an event, but I usually shoot alone and sometimes I miss people or their identification number is obscured. Be sure to search your event's "unidentified" section to see if your photo is there.

My photo online looks light/dark/fuzzy and/or just plain bad. Why? Can you fix it?

Photos are not processed before they are displayed online, and the files shown have not been color-corrected or sharpened. Once you order a photo, it is digitally processed to ensure a perfect print on quality photo paper.

If I order a photo and I don't like the print, can I get a refund?

If your photo cannot be color-corrected, sharpened, or otherwise processed to look perfect, you will receive a refund and can keep the photo.

Can I purchase the full-size digital image file?

Full-size digital image files are available for purchase. Please realize, however, that a full-size digital image is the equivalent of a film negative. Once you have the full-size digital image file, you can alter the photo and/or print as many copies as you like. Full-size image files therefore cost more than a single print, and are only available for non-commercial use. Copyright is retained by Sarah Graybeal Photography.
